Nobody likes to be pushed around, right? Wrong. The fact is nobody gets anywhere without a push in the direction in which they are heading. The problem is that no one ever wants any help, and is always working alone. When they fall, they fall to the ground with no one there to help them up. Such a lonely picture, but that is the reality of many lives. Sometimes it is not because they do not want help; they just don’t know where to find it. Asking for help is also a problem, because some feel it is a sign of weakness.
Everyone that has been successful in life has had help. It is through advice, or support, or even through monetary help that success is obtained. Success is a direct result of the environment created by those reaching for their goals. It is the knowledge of how to create that environment, which many lack. It is not something that is taught, it is something that is usually observed. When you think of something you need, or wish to have, or even a goal you which to reach, you must ask, “How has what I want?” Then you must ask, “How did they get it”
Since we know they achieved that “it” by help from others, the next question you need to ask is, “who helped them get what you want” That is the start to building a powerful network of support, insight, and knowledge. That is when you get pushed around by others, bouncing from one source to the next, picking and choosing what to take in, and what to throw out. Just keep in mind that no matter how absurd you think the idea is, they have what you want, and everything is worth a try.
Create your environment through a crafty web of inspiration, and knowledge. Allow yourself to be pushed around. Endure the criticism, try new things, and remember why you are doing it in the first place. Lastly, make friends along the way. Develop close relationships of honor, and integrity. Remember what they did for you, for one day you will do the same for someone else.
